Abstract

This research focuses on studying the behavior of a microgripper for intracorporeal surgeries before being used in surgical procedures. The microgripper will undergo several tests mainly to evaluate its reliability and to estimate its remaining useful life, These kinds of tests must be performed in order to obtain some certifications for its commercialization. The main approach to assess its performance and behavior is through the PHM implementation.
